The first describes software packages sorted into 12 topical chapters including "Desktop Publishing Packages," "Painting and Drawing Programs," "Typefaces and Fonts," and "Clip Art and Template Collections." Besides descriptive comments, annotations include program type, vendor, hardware requirements, additional software needs, and current cost for each entry.
