The projects are Dune Landscape by the Sea, set on the North Sea Coast in Germany; Desertscape, located in the high deserts of New Mexico, U.S.A.; and Boglands, set in Ireland. The choices were guided by childhood abodes located near these landscapes. The research entailed examining the archaic and native features of each habitat and its ecology, incorporating orientation and climate, as well as studying some of the cultural and aesthetical backdrops of the country.
